What we did in the Autumn 2007 Term:
We were looking at People who help us amongst other things. We had visits from a Lollipop Man, three policemen,
our Foundation Stage Advisory teacher, the Fire fighters and their engine and from and the Lord Mayor, Hazel Slack.
We drew out in the garden.
We helped to water the plants.
We learnt to cross the road safely and had a visit from a Lollipop man.
PC Simon Arliss came to meet us with two of Exwick's Police
Community Support Officers. They let us know that they could be relied on to help.
The Police showed us their equipment which they use to help keep us safe...
Nicola loves to help us make food. Here we are making Coleslaw for our snack and to take home.
We love to make patterns in the paint and then press on paper to make a print...
When the Firefighters visited we had a go at squirting the hoses!
Paula put on the Firefighting Uniform...
She even put on the helmet!
Then we practiced being Firefighters on our engine.
the big accident meant that we needed to get busy in our Doctor's surgery...
